Requests

The students in ‘Renewing Fatherhood’ are not getting their passes to attend class. The past two weeks attendance has suffered. Last week none were issued a call to the Assistant Warden of Programs was necessary to get passes issued so at least a few could attend. Please pray that the staff of Dixon will be more diligent in seeing the passes are distributed.

New Life Corrections’ road trip for fatherhood seminar January 8-10 at Vandalia Correctional Center; Because of personal family commitments I will not be able to participate but please pray for traveling mercies, God glorifying teachings & open and softened hearts of the fathers. Also pray for additional volunteers for future New Life Corrections Fatherhood seminars.

Wisdom in choosing and developing curriculum for a new class planned for Fall 2012. The class will focus on teaching the students how to interpret the Bible, and fruitful daily Bible study/devotion and prayer.
Pray for last year Malachi Dad graduate Rodney J. who was recently paroled. Pray for, housing in healthy environment, reconciliation with family, finding a solid Bible based church family, a Christian mentor and eventual employment.

SOCPM is in urgent need of additional reoccurring monthly support to cover expenses. Currently, monthly expenses are averaging $650. Reoccurring monthly support is $205. Thankfully one-time gifts have been a blessing in off setting some of these expenses and have reduced the need to be paid from personal finances.  Please pray that God will bring forth more ministry partners who can give monthly.

Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord;
