NEW LIFE CORRECTIONS MINISTRY'S

TWO BIGGEST NEEDS

PLEASE PRAY WITH US!

Our 1st "ROAD TEAM" - April, 2011

"ROAD TEAM" MEMBERS

"ROAD TEAMS" travel to Illinois Prisons (State & Federal), presenting our 2-Day Dads' Seminar to crowds of inmates. It's one of our most fruitful ministries!  You can go on one trip, or more!  We go on one or two Road Trips every month.

 Dads' Seminar description

 ROAD TRIP Schedule

 "ROAD TEAM" application

PLEASE INVITE CHAPLAIN TOM to your church, your Sunday School Class, your Bible Study, your Small Group, along with an "ex-offender" friend or two. We'd like bring glory to God and help people gain a new perspective on Jail & Prison ministry!

Please PRAY about joining the "ROAD TEAM." Please pray that others will join.  Please forward this email to other Dads.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Right now, too much of the ministry "revolves" around one man:  Chaplain Tom.  This is  just not "healthy."

An Assistant Director would enable us to increase the amount of ministry - to hold more Seminars in more prisons, etc., and would help Chaplain Tom work more "normal" hours, potentially adding years to his marriage (wink, smile).

PLEASE INVITE CHAPLAIN TOM to your church, to your Mission's Committee, to help the church to consider supporting the New Life Corrections Ministry, reaching tens of thousands of inmates - men, women & teenagers - in our local County Jails, prisons & correctional centers.

We're at a point today where we just have to have the funds available before we hire, so if you can help financially, or your church can help, we'll be that much closer to filling this need.

A GREAT DEVOTIONAL THAT WILL INSPIRE AND MOVE YOU

Title: Stories of Faith & Courage from Prison
Author: Connie Cameron and Jeff Peck
Publisher: God & Country Press (November 9, 2012)
Pages: 464

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of STORIES OF FAITH AND COURAGE FROM PRISON. At 464 pages, this is no small book. It's beautifully put together, making for a great gift or for keepsake to pass down from generation to generation.

STORIES OF FAITH AND COURAGE FROM PRISON by CONNIE CAMERON AND JEFF PECK is a wonderfully inspiring and moving collection of short stories setup as a devotional. Each day you can read a new story that will warm your heart, bring tears to your eyes, encourage you to continue your work in the ministry, or inspire you to become involved in the prison and jail ministry.

Who will enjoy STORIES OF FAITH AND COURAGE FROM PRISON:

-Those that volunteer in the prison and jail ministry.
-Those with a loved one that's incarcerated.
-Those that are incarcerated.
-Those who have been incarcerated.
-Those that work in the prisons and jails.
-Those that know someone that has an incarcerated loved one.
-Those feeling called to prison and jail ministry.

Whether you're familiar with the ministry, curious about it, or know someone that's incarcerated, STORIES OF FAITH AND COURAGE FROM PRISON won't disappoint.

Student Prayer Requests

Greetings

Friday night brought to a close classroom portion of SOCPM's ministry year 2012.  To me it still sees like it was a short while ago everyone was clamoring about Y2K, giving testament to how time goes by so quickly.

God blessed SOCPM, Michelle and me abundantly in 2012 and trust in 2013 he will even more so. I hope as you reflect back on 2012, you too can see God blessing you and your loved ones.

To all have a safe and blessed New Year.

Glory to Him and Him alone.
